Do you Juana? "The Evolution of Women!"

In the past, women were treated unjustly, they did not have the freedom and rights they truly deserve as if they were weaker gender. Back then women were only supposed to be inside their house’s, doing household choirs, and taking care of their own children. They were forbidden to go outside, be the “breadwinner” of the family, and have education. They were not allowed to vote, and be part of any political matters. Women were robbed of their self-confidence and self-respect, and were made totally dependent on men. Women were treated as slaves of men. Making women think that males are the superior and the dominant specie.

Being able to live in a religiously free environment, having a say in the government you fund with your taxes, and not being enslaved by another person for the rest of your life. Many people used to think these ideas about how living should and must be lived were foolish. Visionaries, on the other hand, held these convictions with zeal, and their tireless efforts resulted in a shift in minds and attitudes. Women’s lives have changed dramatically over the generations, whether in family life, religion, government, employment, or education. These changes did not occur spontaneously. These changes were made by women themselves, and they did so on purpose. Women have not been the passive recipients of amazing legal and social advances. Seven generations of women have banded together to bring about these reforms in the most democratic manner possible, including meetings, petition drives, lobbying, public speaking, and peaceful opposition. They have worked very hard to make the world a better place, and they have been enormously successful.

The talent of women was shown and many had witnessed these talents, they have proven that they can do what met can do. Elizabeth Cady Stanton used the Declaration of Independence as the framework for writing what she titled a “Declaration of Sentiments.” In what proved to be a brilliant move, Stanton connected the nascent campaign for women’s rights directly to that powerful American symbol of liberty. The same familiar words framed their arguments: “We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men and women are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

Because of education, women persuade different careers inspiring fellow women and promoting women’s rights and empowerment. Women were determined to strive, some females joined the army, became part of the police and many more. Women were even brave enough to run for the highest position in the government, many became leaders and influencers.

The poster shows a woman holding a child, inside the woman and the child are pictures of different female workers with different careers. It simply says that caring for a child is not only what women can, they can work as hard as a man can. This simple poster will help promote women empowerment gender equality and women’s rights.
