End Season

Image
It's the fourth quarter, and things have been tense. For a few weeks, I've been so close to finding peace. It didn't feel like a blur because I was well aware that my junior year was drawing to a close. Since the thought that everything will be accomplished soon nagged at me, I continued to be worried, losing interest in completing my responsibilities.    I've experienced challenges that have made it difficult for me to do my assignments. I've always been lazy, and it's been with me since the beginning of my distance learning experience. I feel even more lazy as vacation approaches, causing me to cram and postpone my schoolwork. I will continue to push myself to be more diligent in my education, regardless of my bad habits.    Moving on, despite several problems, this current distant learning system is complete for this school year, but I can't say I favor it. Face-to-face learning is still my preference because it ensures that I am learning and improvi

Every human, living thing, creature, organic and material things influence each other directly and indirectly in the environment where we live, and are subject to one another for a share of the other supply. Our ecosystem and climate are not the same as they were previously. The equilibrium of organic and real structures has broken as a result of our exploitation of the climate. Unintentional deforestation, hunting of wild animals, contamination of air and water as a result of mechanical events, an increase in global temperature change as a result of the use of harmful gear, and several other factors are included.    The way we are leaving normally today is causing equal to our environment. Our environment's natural resources are finite; if we continue to use them in this manner, the day will come when we won't be able to breathe pure air. Electronic devices in our houses emit carbon dioxide, which has an impact on the environment. Many additional man-made causes have an

Viva! Binatbatan Festival!

Image
The procedure of beating cotton pods to remove the seeds for Abel weaving is known as "binatbatan." Locals regarded this as an occupational dance involving two sticks known as "batbat." During the week-long festival, the Binabatan street dance is one of the primary attractions.     The Binatbatan Festival has traditionally been a year-round event with a wide range of activities that attract a significant number of visitors and locals. The festival honors culture and infuses the city, as well as the province as a whole, with vitality. Last year, though, the fast-spreading pandemic disrupted the annual festivities. Events were canceled and the celebration was dampened due to the potential of the illness spreading among the participants. The Binatbatan Festival is in its second year, right in the heart of the pandemic. The festival's success was ensured through a variety of activities. The Binatbatan street dance was aired using online streaming sites like Face

Do you Juana? "The Evolution of Women!"

Image
In the past, women were treated unjustly, they did not have the freedom and rights they truly deserve as if they were weaker gender. Back then women were only supposed to be inside their house’s, doing household choirs, and taking care of their own children. They were forbidden to go outside, be the “breadwinner” of the family, and have education. They were not allowed to vote, and be part of any political matters. Women were robbed of their self-confidence and self-respect, and were made totally dependent on men. Women were treated as slaves of men. Making women think that males are the superior and the dominant specie.  Being able to live in a religiously free environment, having a say in the government you fund with your taxes, and not being enslaved by another person for the rest of your life. Many people used to think these ideas about how living should and must be lived were foolish. Visionaries, on the other hand, held these convictions with zeal, and their tireless efforts

Season 3?

I learned how to do community-based research during the third quarter of the 2020-2021 academic year. Despite the difficulties, I was able to collect data quickly because many elders are easy to talk to. I had a hard time adjusting when modular distance learning was first established. But now that the third quarter of the school year is through, I've gotten the feel of it.   We're almost there, all the sleepless and stressful nights will all be worth it. Now, I'm just a quarter of the way through my junior high school career, although digitally. For the upcoming quarter, I'm looking forward to more challenging but yet simple classes.

The Day of Valor

Image
The Day of Valor, or Araw ng Kagitingan, honors the valor of Filipino and American soldiers during World War II's Japanese invasion of the Philippines. At dawn on April 9, 1942, US Army Major General Edward P. King was forced to surrender approximately 76,000 Filipinos, Chinese, and American forces to the Japanese. The soldiers were compelled to walk 90 miles (145 kilometers) to Camp O'Donnell in San Fernando. Thousands of inmates died of starvation, thirst, and infections during the walk to the camp (also known as the Bataan Death March).   Despite their challenges, the Filipinos were able to beat their shared foe by joining together and seeking the help of Americans. The island of Bataan was spared devastation.  Araw ng Kagitingan is a non-working holiday in the Philippines that falls on a long weekend. The primary highlight of the Araw ng Kagitingan is when the Philippines' president delivers a speech at the Mt Samat shrine in Bataan province to commemorate the valor

The Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) has made a humongous impact to the world. This pernicious virus has affected many people and also took many lives. It’s been more than a year since this horrendous pandemic affected many lives. When the number of active cases proliferated on January 30,2020, authorities decided to find a solution to this economic disaster. To reduce the rate of people getting infected by this virus, the government has implemented lockdowns with strong containment measures. Unfortunately, isolating ourselves in our own homes isn’t enough in dealing with this virus. The best way to fight the virus is finding a cure to it, over-the-counter drugs and simple remedies isn’t enough to treat and to completely prevent the spread of this fatal disease. In order to prevent a virus from infecting someone’s body one must be immune to this said disease. Immunity to a disease is achieved through the presence of antibodies to that disease in a person’s system. Anti-bodies are prote
